VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL 2008
June 9 - 13 (9:00AM - 12:15PM)

Every year at the start of the summer we orchestrate an event your child won't want to miss. Vacation Bible School, (though it isn't school at all) is an adventurous week of hands on fun and adventure your kids will talk about for weeks! This year's theme will be Power Lab: Discovering Jesus' Miraculous Power.

*VBS is a free ministry of Sugarloaf UMC. However, we depend on your donations of supplies to make this a wonderful experience for all children. Please stop by the donation boards at the church and select a supply donation of your choice. All donations are needed by June 2nd.

Ages: (New this year!) Rising Kindergarten through 5th grade Dates: June 9-13
Time: 9:00AM-12:15PM
Volunteer: If you're 14 or older, you can be an integral part of a successful VBS program. Volunteer Crew Leaders are still needed!

VBS Missions Project

This year at Power Lab VBS our children will be working with Amigos for Christ - our partner in Nicaragua. We will be sending soccer balls overseas to the children who live in Nicaragua. Our children will be working on these soccer balls and learning all about this mission project during crafts. They will sign the soccer balls, pray over them and present them on the altar the last day of VBS. Sugarloaf UMC and Amigos for Christ will be working on building a soccer field/stadium while we are there in July.

VBS Offering Money

This year at Power Lab VBS our offering will go towards backpacks and school supplies for the Navajo Indian Reservation. We just found out that the US government is no longer supplying the Navajo children in Pueblo Pintado, N.M. with book bags and supplies. Our children here at Sugarloaf KIDS are so blessed and we simply will not let our friends on this Reservation go without the necessary supplies to go to school. This years VBS offering will go toward purchasing these needed supplies. We would really like every child to receive a bag from us and there are over 250! Our SUMC Missions team will be serving at the Reservation from July 12 – 19.

Xtreme VBS

XTREME VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL 2008

This unique and week long Xtreme Vacation Bible School is an experience for our rising 6th Graders! You won't believe the Biblical truths your child can learn through pudding, water and watermelon!
