Glowing Lights

Glowing Lights is Sugarloaf’s Ministry for individuals with cognitive impairments. We currently offer a Sunday morning class for adults with cognitive impairments at 11:00am that is located inside the Sugarloaf KIDS Building.  We also offer a monthly Friday evening program called NightLights a “social night out” complete with dinner, crafts, games, and music.  Our NightLights schedule is posted on Upcoming Events for more detailed information.

SUMC Glowing Lights Policies:

  • If your child, youth or an adult is medically fragile, a parent must accompany them.
  • Medications cannot be dispensed by SUMC staff or volunteers.
  • If you have a child, youth or adult with special needs and are interested in attending Sunday morning or our week day programs, you must schedule a prior appointment with the program leader. Without a prior meeting with the program leader, you must accompany your children while they attend our programs.
  • We will make every attempt to place your child, youth or adult in an environment where they can thrive. However, SUMC reserves the right to deny attendance of any individual whose behavior and/or medical condition proves harmful to themselves or to others, or negatively interferes with the experiences of other participants in the program.
