Nursery Volunteers Needed
Our nursery is growing quicker than we ever imagined. We are in need of adults who are willing to make a one month commitment to volunteer in our Bed Babies room at 11 o'clock. Please contact Debbie Bowers, SK Nursery Coordinator at Debbie@sugarloaf.org to volunteer or get more information.

Wednesday Night Bridge

BRIDGE is available Wednesday nights starting from 6:45PM-8:00PM for kids nursery-4th grade. Our 5th graders will be meeting in The EDGE room for an intimate time of study with Lisa and Glen Bailey. The BRIDGE features biblically-based wild and crazy challenges that will teach our children about God through silly strings, chopsticks, Mr. Potato head and toilet paper (just to name a few.) So come out and “be immature” with us in the name of Jesus on Wednesdays at Sugarloaf KIDS. Volunteers are welcome and needed. Contact Lisa Bailey at lisa@sugarloaf.org for more information.

Solid Rock Kids Camp
July 7 - 10
Our new Solid Rock for KIDS camp registration begins on April 28th for ages rising 1st grades through rising 3rd grades. The cost is $90.00 and will be limited to 20 participants (we will take a waiting list). The dates are July 7-10 from 9:00AM to 1:30PM. Our Camp Leaders are Heidi Ellis and Stephanie Nolan.
Jesus often taught His disciples and crowds of people by telling parables. Parables are stories with a moral. During Solid Rock Kids Camp we will explore four different parables in a fun-filled, exciting way. Through field trips (Yellow River Game Ranch, Adrenaline Rock Climbing, Rainbow Trout Fishing Ranch and Destination Unknown), crafts, and story-telling we will explore the wonderful teachings of Jesus.

Required Items:
Bible Verses:
- "I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world" (Matthew 13:34)
- "O my people, listen to my teaching. Open your ears to what I am saying. For I will show you lessons from our history, stories handed down to us from former generations. I will reveal these truths to you so that you can describe these glorious deeds of Jehovah to your children, and tell them about the mighty miracles he did. For He gave His laws to Israel, and commanded our fathers to teach them to their children, so that they in turn could teach their children too. Thus His laws pass down from generation to generation. In this way each generation has been able to obey His laws and to set its hope anew on God and not forget His glorious miracles." (Psalm 78:1-7)

Romans 8:39 (New Century Version)
Change-4-Change Offering:
Our kids at Sugarloaf can make a difference in the lives of kids across the ocean. Our summer offering will be given to the Beyond the Walls Russian Mission team. They are traveling to the Smolensk region of Russia to an orphanage there. While they are there they plan to share the love of Jesus and the hope for a different life with the children and the teachers at this orphanage. They will be spending their days with the children doing Vacation Bible School, crafts and playing with the children. Our offering will help fund this mission trip.
Preschool Theme - June, July, and August
This summer’s garden theme will inspire PRESCHOOLERS to explore the “fruit of the spirit” in Galatians 5: 22-23a. Through play, creating and worshipping, they will learn that God plants the seeds of these fruits in each of them so that may grow and show Jesus’ love to others.

11:00 - Game Show themed Worship. We will continue with our 45 minute worship/15 minute small group time format. Our theme for the month of July and August will be
"MAKE YOUR WORDS COUNT"
(A spoof from Wheel of Fortune)
Through a fun game show, object lessons, Bible stories, drama and small group time, our children at BLASt will learn how to become more like Christ in their speech. Over the next 7 weeks each hour will focus on different kind of words that come out of our mouths. Not only will the children evaluate the words they use, they will also reflect on their hearts as they come to understand that what comes out of their mouths is a reflection of their heart (Matthew 2:34 – 37).
Lessons:
- Truth vs. Lies
- Calm vs. Angry
- Complaining vs. Content
- Encouraging vs. Discouraging
- Kind vs. Unkind
- Forgiving vs. unforgiving
- Pure vs. Impure
