SUMC offers many option during the week for adults to gather for study, fellowship and spiritual growth.
How Do I Get Connected?
Step 1: If you haven't yet, attend Starting Point, a 2 hour class for newcomers that meets each month.
Step 2: The next step is to choose a class from the list below that peaks your interest. You can choose a new class and register quickly and easily right here online. Or you can join an ongoing group study that meets regularly and join. Most groups begin new topics in January. Books can be purchased at the Information Counter and Bookstore in the chuch lobby. Step 3: Make your commitment to grow a priority and expect God to strengthen and equip you to live out your faith each day!

Starting Point
Starting Point is a 2-hour class for newcomers that is led by the senior pastor. The purpose of Starting Point is to meet others and learn more about the purpose and vision for our church and how to get connected into the life of the church.
Time: Once a month on Sunday from 6:00-8:00

Breakfast and A Movie
This class enjoys breakfast, study and discussion of the latest video curriculum.

The Bridge, Connecting with Christ
This class is known for its care and support for one another and its focus on discipleship and applying God's word to their everyday lives. This January they will be digging deeper into the sermon topics preached on Sunday mornings.

Prayer & Fellowship Class
This group enjoys discovering God's truth through Bible study and lively discussion. Study, laugh, pray and just plain enjoy life together.

Upper Room Bible Study
This class enjoys in-depth Bible study and is spending the semester unlocking the mysteries of the end times drawing from the books of Revelation, Daniel and other Biblical materials.

Second Look Sermon Discussion Group
Using the Sermon Discussion Guide posted online each week, this class will take a "Second Look" at the sermon. Enjoy meeting new people and good discussion.

Monthly Men's Breakfast
Join the men on the second Saturday of each month for breakfast, fellowship, guest speaker and discussion. We meet at 8:00 am in the Worship Center. Register here for June 14th breakfast.

The GoodLife Study (20s and 30s group) Come build a community of friends with other young adults. We're more than a Sunday morning class, we enjoy social gatherings and service projects in the community.

Married Couples Study
We would like to invite you to the Celebrate Marriage Sunday Evening Small Group that meets at 6pm on Sunday evenings. This class is currently open (drop-ins are welcome) and each topic through the end of May lends itself to minimal (or no) preparation to be able to participate. We will begin discussing Rick Warren's article on "The Purpose Driven Marriage" starting April 20th and finishing up at the end of May. There is no book to buy & handoust will be supplied.

And go deeper in worship with Living Proof Live Worship Leader Travis Cottrell and the praise team, and special guest Mandisa.
