Among Friends Life Adventure Ministry...

Among Friends is a collection of individuals, passionate in growing relationships with God & others through worship, study, service, fellowship and adventures.

On a monthly basis, we seek to provide at least one opportunity in each of the following areas: Worshiping God, Growing your life and relationships, Serving God and our world.

The GoodLife is for single and married people in their 20s and 30s– this group enjoys socializing, serving and meeting together for study.  Contact: Josh and Robin Axelberd   
 Sunday Morning Study-  Join us any Sunday at 9:30 am in the Theater for hang out time, study and group discussion.
 
 

Want to know more about us? Please join the Goodlife for a light breakfast and beverages between worship services in the Theater.  This is a great time to meet others and learn about the Goodlife and the upcoming events.

Monthly Men's Ministry Fellowship Breakfast
September 11th

The SUMC Men's Network invites all men to our Monthly Fellowship Breakfast.  Enjoy a hot breakfast, great fellowship and a guest speaker. 

Our next breakfast will be on Saturday, September 11th from 8:00am - 9:30am in the Rec Center (campus map).  To ensure we have enough food & space, please click here to register.

Please join us the 2nd Tuesday of EACH month for our Monthly Planning Meeting.
Our next meeting will be Tuesday, September 14th from 7-8:30pm in the Library.

For 50 & over

 
Sugarloafers

Are you over 50 and looking for monthly outings, trips and fellowship? Do we have a group for you! The Sugarloafers are fun, full of energy and always looking to make new friends. For information about upcoming Sugarloafer events contact Penny Griffin or Karen Wargo at 770-495-9839.

Upcoming Outings:

August 26 we will leave the church at 9 AM to go to Madison, Ga.  We will explore the town and then go to Social Circle to the Blue Willow for a Southern lunch at 12:30 before returning to the church.
 
September 16 - Dinner at the Diner at Sugarhill 6:00pm
October 14 - Trip to Dahlonega and Lunch
November 30 -  Special guest speaker, Pat Nagle.
Christmas Party in December - more info to come.
